About me
Decorator & Daydreamer
I Graduated in March 2016 IN Simultan Art School (Szimultán Művészeti Iskola) as Decorator and received my degree in and Applied Artist AA (Associaton of Arts).
Since my childhood I am in love with decorative painting and creating beautiful and useful objects.
As long as I can remember I was interested in patterns, creating and decorating objects.
The turning point for me was 2012, when I was on an internship in Vienna, and due to a personal experience I decided to take crafts more seriously. Therefore I started courses in an evening school of arts. First I have finished an art clay course, than I studied on stained glass , glass painting and fusing faculty - I received my association of arts degree in 2014. In the following year I went back to school to study applied arts.
I decorated many kind of surfaces like glass, wood, textiles etc. until I have found polymer clay. I do use it as a base material - for example like others use ceramic and porcelain - than the forming follows by coating, painting and varnishing, etc. to crate different effects. This is a very exciting game, I like the desigining, experimentating phase the most. This might be the reason I mostly (and almost exclusively) make unique, one of a kind pieces. I am a huge fan of fantasy genre, which can be seen in my artworks.
Tuilë brand started in 2011, the same year I started to make polymer clay jewelries.
Tuilë means spring in quenya language (created by J.R.R. Tolkien) and tuile is also a name of a french biscuit.
Previously (since 2009) I created jewelries (mostly made of wood and painted glass) under the name Narbeleth art.
I published my pattern deisgns under the name Spring-fae first in 2015-ben, than in this year as part of my AA graduation project I rebranded my portfolio, and in March of 2016 I decided to have these under Tuilë brand as well asmy jewelries.
